Chickens are meant to be raised outdoors in their natural environment, eating bugs and field greens. This is exactly how our broilers are raised, as well as supplementing them with a high protein, specialized grain, which adds to the flavor of the meat.
The chickens we raise for meat are a Cornish Cross, which is a bird that grows fairly quickly and which we process around 10 weeks. The birds are housed in their custom cruiser out on fresh pasture where they are moved twice daily. This natural way of keeping the chickens results in a leaner and tastier product.
We use a processor in Pennsylvania that packages them for us as whole roasters and various cuts. The whole chickens will usually range in size from 3-6 lbs. Legs, thighs, split breasts and wings are also available.
Nothing beats fresh, pasture raised chicken!

Nothing beats a fresh, pasture raised turkey for Thanksgiving! We raise Bronze Breasted turkeys beginning in early July so that they are ready in time for the holidays. Again, these guys are raised in the cruiser and are moved around the pasture. They will dress out anywhere from 13 - 20 lbs and are ready for pick up or delivery the week before Thanksgiving.
Turkeys will be weighed and shrink wrapped so buy one for Christmas as well and it will keep in the freezer!
Numbers are extremely limited so be sure to reserve one early.
We also offer farm, fresh eggs for sale.
We have a variety of laying hens that lay everything from blue to dark brown eggs, and everything in between!
